Filming Approach:
We're using a mix of old and new techniques to capture the holiday feel. Handheld shots, steady movements, will help bring the warmth and joy of the season to life. Plus, we're using natural light and festive decorations to make everything feel really Christmassy.
Costuming Blog Post
We've decided that our costumes for the upcoming event will consist of vintage Christmas clothing. This choice perfectly complements our Secret Santa exchange, adding a delightful touch of nostalgia to our festive celebration. Everyone's enthusiasm for this theme promises a visually stunning and heartwarming gathering, creating lasting memories for all involved.

Mood Board
The mood board I made is based on the movie Jaws, and I had an idea to make a new movie based on sharks inspired by Jaws. The movie is primarily horror but include some funny aspects to keep the watcher engaged. The movie would be named Sharks! and would include 4 characters. The characters would include a comedic effect throughout the story while giving the story an ominous vibe with the presence of the shark. The mood board also goes over ideas for the cover art for the movie, the main colors the movie will be based on, and scenes that can be included in the movie. The palette is all on the darker side to make the movie still have a dark vibe throughout the whole movie. The main reason I would want to do this movie is because Jaws is the most creative movie out there from sound design and from the actors as well, they are a great influence on why I would do this movie.

Sound
Sound is something that you hear that can tell you a variety of things that are happening, knocking on a door, sound effects, audio are all sound. Lack of sound could result in people not knowing what's happening without truly visualizing it.
It was difficult to come up sound ideas without visuals, because you don't always know what to expect what sounds are you going to use, and which ones you aren't going to use. Our group was easily able to come up with sounds and make a sound story because we visualized the story beforehand and gave our thoughts on what was always next to come on in the story.

The angles I did in the media studies project were two shot, high angle, low angle, over the shoulder, canted angle, extreme close up, medium shot, pov shot, and close up. My favorite shot out of all of them was the high angle. My second favorite was the over-the-shoulder shot.I had no overall issues making any of the shots, and the shots came out well.
