Blog Comments

 I recently posted my blog comments, because before the site would give me an error, the comments I posted were on Payton's and Xavier's blogs and I commented how I felt on them I commented on Payton's blog saying how I liked the shots and I enjoyed being in the project, and I commented on Xavier's blog saying how his shot examples were good.

 The angles I did in the media studies project were two shot, high angle, low angle, over the shoulder, canted angle, extreme close up, medium shot, pov shot, and close up. My favorite shot out of all of them was the high angle. My second favorite was the over-the-shoulder shot.I had no overall issues making any of the shots, and the shots came out well.

Close Up Shot:

Close-up shot showcases either the whole face or an close-up of a character's facial expression.

Point of View Shot:

A point-of-view shot shows the character's vision and it can also show the character's feeling and perspective.

Low Angle Shot

A low-angle shot shows the character's the character at a lower viewing point so they look bigger/stronger/scarier.

Medium Shot

A medium shot shows above the character's waist and above.

Wide Shot

A wide shot shows the whole character and presents the action that they're doing mostly to build suspense, there are different types of shots.

First Blog Post

     My name's Dylan, and I'm 14 years old. I used to attend school at Somerset, and now I attend Flanagan. I started to attend this school because I wanted to join a school with that can grant me more opportunities, and I want to start off at a higher level. I hope to learn many things about media & film, and how it is made in this class. Wishing a great school year in this class and I'm excited what will come for me to learn. I also attended this class apart of the Cambridge program. I wish to learn more in this class and come out his class smarter, and with anything that can benefit me in near future. I have no clue what to add for a picture, so I'll just attach a photo of Flanagan.

    Here's some fun facts about me; I went to Costa Rica for the summer. I also went zip ling while I was there. My birthday is June 16th.

    I hope to come out this class more creative and document my findings and take the Cambridge test at the end of the year.
